Jeff Quinto, Head Coach

Jeff Quinto, Head Coach and Trading Room Manager of the Photon Trading Room, has been involved in trading for over 30 years. For ten years, from 1977 to 1987, Jeff was a trader on the Kansas City Board of Trade. For the past five years, Jeff has professionally recruited, trained and coached dozens of traders in both Chicago and Vienna. From this in-depth experience, Jeff has learned what it takes for a new trader to learn to trade, for a trader on the edge of making it to “make it”, and, for an experienced trader, to press his advantage in order to maximize his daily profits and build consistency.

Jeff has been interviewed repeatedly on topics related to trading and has
developed the following five simple rules from his experience training
dozens of successful traders:

1. When initiating a trade, always get the edge. Buy the bid. Sell the offer.
2. When liquidating a losing trade, always give up the edge.
   Hit the bid or take the offer.
3. Never add to a losing trade.
4. Once you have a profit on a trade, never let it become a loss.
   Never let a winning day turn into a losing day.
5. You are a professional – come prepared to trade as if you were
   a professional athlete with a clear head, supreme confidence,
   and absolute discipline.
